Ex-DARKANE Frontman Lays Down Vocals On New SCARVE Album
October 20, 2006French metallers SCARVE have recruited Swedish vocalist Lawrence Mackrory (ex-DARKANE) to sing on their upcoming album, tentatively due in March 2007 via Listenable Records. Lawrence, who is currently active in several projects, including the "fantabulously moshoholic" F.K.Ü., did an "amazing" job on the new CD, but apparently has no intentions of joining SCARVE as a permanent replacement for Guillaume Bideau, who left the group earlier in the year to front the Danish metal band MNEMIC.
The follow-up to 2004's "Irradiant" was recorded at the Dug-Out facility in Uppsala, Sweden and will work with renowned Swedish producer Daniel Bergstrand, whose previous credits include MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and STUCK MOJO.
Bideau joined SCARVE in November 1998 and performed on all three of the band's albums: "Transluscence" (2000),"Luminiferous" (2002) and "Irradiant" (2004).
